You put a modular sofa together from separate modules: that way you get exactly the sofa, corner sofa or U-shaped sofa that fits your room. Choose from more than fifteen design collections and see the result straight away in 3D.
No two rooms are the same. That is why most Bizzarto sofas consist of modules in different sizes, which you freely combine into the layout that suits you.
A compact two-seater, a generous corner sofa with a chaise longue or a U-shaped sofa for the whole family: with a modular sofa you choose the shape, the width and the depth yourself. Then you choose the fabric, the colour, the base and the comfort. Your sofa is then made to measure and by hand for you.

The building blocks
How a modular sofa is put together.
Each collection has its own modules. These are the building blocks you come across most often.
Module with armrest
The start or end of the sofa, with the armrest on the left or right. In some collections, such as Columbus, you can also choose a sofa without armrests.
Corner module
Connects two rows into a corner sofa or U-shaped sofa. Curved modules are possible too, as in La Roche, for a soft, rounded layout.
Chaise longue
An extended seat to stretch out on, often in several lengths: 160 or 185 cm in Irys. Calvados, Grande, Swing and Trivio also offer a version with storage.
Pouf & extras
Separate poufs as an extra seat or footrest, side tables as a connecting element and sides with a shelf. That is how you complete the layout.
The right size
Which corner sofa fits your room?
Start with the room, not with the sofa. Measure the wall where the sofa will go, check where doors, windows and walking routes are and keep enough walking space in front of the sofa: we recommend at least 90 cm.

More than sitting
Modular, with extra features.
Many modular collections have clever features that you choose per module:
- Sleep function: Calvados (a sleeping area of up to 300 × 150 cm in a corner layout), Swing, Trivio and Grande. Read more about designer sofa beds.
- Recliner: Swing with an electrically adjustable backrest, footrest and headrest; Zen with adjustable headrests and a recline function.
- Storage: chaises longues with a storage compartment for bedding in Calvados, Grande, Swing and Trivio.
- Adjustable seat depth: in Spring and Choco you sit upright or sink right in.
- Adjustable headrests: in La Roche and Zen, for extra support when reading or watching TV.

What is a modular sofa?
A modular sofa consists of separate modules, such as middle modules, modules with armrests, corner modules, chaises longues and poufs. By combining these modules, you put together a sofa or corner sofa in exactly the shape and size you want.
How do I choose the right size of corner sofa?
Measure the wall and the space in front of it, and keep at least 90 cm of walking space free. In the 3D configurator you enter the dimensions of your room and immediately see whether the layout fits.
Is there a modular sofa with a sleep function?
Yes. Calvados, Swing, Trivio and Grande are available with a sleep function. In a corner layout Calvados offers a sleeping area of up to 300 × 150 cm, and in these collections the chaise longue can also have storage for bedding.
Which modular sofa is the softest?
Manhattan is our softest lounge collection, with a proprietary combination of foams in the seat cushions. In many other collections you choose the softness of seat and back yourself.
Can I get a modular sofa with a recliner?
Yes. Swing has an electric recline function with which you adjust the backrest, footrest and headrest, and Zen has adjustable headrests and a recline function.
Can I design a modular sofa online?
Yes. In the 3D configurator you choose the model, the modules, the fabric and the colour, and see the sofa straight away in 3D and to scale in your room. Then you save your design without obligation and an interior consultant gets in touch.
