Designer furniture is furniture in which form, proportions, comfort and material come together in one considered design, usually by a recognisable designer or studio. At Bizzarto that means: designed with leading designers, made by hand in our own workshop in Poznań and only made once you have designed your piece.
Bizzarto was born more than 15 years ago out of a love of design. The collection covers five categories: sofas, chairs and armchairs, coffee tables and tables, beds and outdoor. For most models you choose the size, fabric, colour and base yourself.
In the Netherlands, Dutch interior consultants advise you personally, online or at your home. No smooth sales talk, but advice that suits your room and the way you live.

Which design awards has our furniture won?
A design award is independent confirmation: an international panel of experts has seen, used and judged the piece. Bizzarto collections have won awards at, among others:
- Red Dot Design Award 2025: the Bofii sofas and the Loop armchair.
- German Design Award 2025: the Bofii armchair and the Tondo coffee table, in the Excellent Design category.
- Iconic Awards 2025: Tondo, as Winner.
- Must Have (Łódź Design Festival): Bofii, Loop, La Roche, Aztec, Torii, Dune and Zen, among others.
- Dobry Wzór and Diament Meblarstwa: Tondo and Aztec were finalists of Dobry Wzór 2024; Dune and Calvados received a Diament Meblarstwa.

Who designs Bizzarto furniture?
Every collection is designed for or together with Bizzarto, by designers who each have their own signature.
Krystian Kowalski
Designer of the sculptural Loop armchair, with a solid oak base: Red Dot Winner 2025 in the Furniture Design category.
Nicer Design
Designed the Arch collection on distinctive arched legs: sofa, armchair, pouf, coffee table, dining table and chairs in one design language.
Quality on the inside
Quality you can’t see, but can feel.
With designer furniture, you look at the form first. Yet the real quality of a piece of furniture is where you cannot see it. What you see and feel is the fabric and the beautiful design; whether your furniture still sits just as well after years is decided by the inside:
- The construction: no chipboard, but thick, heavy wood.
- Heavy, high-quality materials: which is why Bizzarto furniture weighs noticeably more than average.
- Foam and springs: in the seats we use high-quality foam, including memory foam (the so-called NASA foam), and springs for even support.
- Moving parts: mechanisms for reclining, sleeping and adjustment, made for daily use, such as the Italian sleeping mechanism of Flow and the electric recline function of Swing.
- Solid where it counts: the base of the Loop armchair is solid oak, as is the Purro coffee table in its wooden version; the Arch dining table has a solid wood top.

How it works
Buying designer furniture online: how does it work?
You choose how you select your furniture: online or at home, and soon also in our showroom in Rotterdam.
- Design it in 3D: in the 3D configurator you put together sofas, chairs, coffee tables, beds and outdoor furniture and see the result straight away in 3D. Read more about designing in 3D.
- Save without obligation: you pay nothing yet, and a Dutch interior consultant gets in touch.
- Feel the fabrics: woven fabrics, including 100% linen, bouclé, velvet, chenille and micro leather. Look at them at home with the sample box or with a consultant at your home.
- Confirm and have it made: after a 50% deposit your furniture is made by hand and delivered and installed within 6–8 weeks, with a personal serial number and certificate.

Why is Bizzarto designer furniture so heavy?
Because the quality is on the inside. No chipboard, but thick, heavy wood; heavy, high-quality materials; high-quality foam in the seats, including memory foam; springs and mechanisms made for daily use. That weighs noticeably more, and you notice it in the sturdiness and in how long your furniture stays comfortable.
Can I have designer furniture made to measure?
Yes. In most collections you choose the modules and therefore the size and shape, plus the fabric, colour, base and often the softness of seat and back. Your furniture is only made once you have designed it.
What is the delivery time for designer furniture?
After the deposit your furniture goes into production. Within 6–8 weeks it is made by hand and delivered and installed at your home. You are notified a week in advance.
Where can I see the furniture and fabrics?
Request the sample box to look at the fabrics at home, or the free inspiration book with the complete collection. An interior consultant can also visit you at home. Soon you will be welcome in our new showroom in Rotterdam, and with an interior from € 15,000 you visit our showroom in Warsaw during the design trip.
