Sculptural sofa with a wooden frame, inspired by the Japanese torii gate
Torii brings the calm of Japanese design into your home: a light, geometric form in which natural wood and soft cushions achieve a rare harmony.
The sculptural, geometric form of Torii, its lightness and minimalism evoke associations with Japan. The purity of the form and a restrained austerity bring calm and serenity to the interior. The contrast between natural wood and the softness of the cushions creates a harmonious whole. Torii is a collection for those who appreciate refined elegance; its character changes with the finish you choose, from the wood colour to the upholstery fabric.
Just like the torii gate to which its name refers, the wooden side can remain visible. If you prefer softly finished sides, there are specially designed, contoured side cushions. The collection consists of a 2.5-seater sofa and an armchair. Torii is designed by Grynasz Studio, founded by Marta Niemywska-Grynasz and Dawid Grynasz, and in 2024 received the Must Have distinction, a prestigious award for the best of Polish design.

You can't see the real quality of a piece of furniture: it is on the inside. That is why a Bizzarto is strong, made for long and intensive use — and noticeably heavier.
No chipboard, but thick, heavy wood
High-grade foam in the seats, including memory foam (NASA foam)
